Centenary Service to remember the end of the First World War
Centenary Service to remember the end of the First World War
All Saints Church
3 p.m. Sunday 11th November 2018
One hundred years ago on the 11th November 1918 at 11.00 the guns fell silent on the western front bringing to an end the First World War, one of the most devastating wars in human terms ever. The centenary of the end of the First World War falls on Remembrance Sunday this year.
To remember this and to pray for peace we will be holding a Service at 3 p.m. on Remembrance Sunday (in addition to our joining in the National Remembrance during our 10.30 Service that day.)
It is important to remember the sacrifices made by millions in the First World War and to pray for peace in our world today.
Please join us for this Service.
