After months of waiting, we are delighted to announce that the Fire Escape is being installed to the rear of the Magpie Centre, after planning permission was granted last month. The photos depict Sitech Industrial Services of Gillingham (with assistance from our volunteers) installing the new fire escape, piece by piece, after they had manufactured it in their local workshop.

The outside of the property is also nearing completion, thanks to the sterling work from our teams of volunteers including those from our Church & local community and a team from the Probation Service.

Be sure to put Saturday 12 September into your diaires! That is the day that Rt Rev James Langstaff, Bishop of Rochester will be officially opening our new Community Centre to the public. Hope to see you there!
