South East Dance are providing a free workshop to learn the Big Dance Pledge routine at BACA (Brighton Aldridge Community Centre) http://www.baca-uk.org.uk/Contact/
Lewes Road, Brighton, BN1 9PN on Tuesday, 26 April 5-6.30pm.
The workshop is being delivered by Nick Lawson http://www.feveredsleep.co.uk/creative/nick-lawson/ . Following the workshop you can then teach the routine with your respective dance groups. The mass participation day for the pledge is to be performed on 20th May at 1pm or 7pm – but you can also perform it any time/ date to suit you and film before the 20th May to highlight your pledge involvement on social media platforms. Alternatively, as some of you are already aware, we are holding ‘dance on the pier’ on Saturday, 9 July as part of Big Dance and the River Festival along Chatham waterfront, you would be more than welcome to perform the Big Dance Pledge routine at this event or bring a choreography of your own to highlight and raise the profile of your dance group or organisation.
